We currently have an opening for a Researcher in our Energy, Environment, Communications & Infrastructure (EECI) practice located in our Washington, DC office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global firm that uses quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze energy and transportation markets, evaluate regulation and competition and to conduct analyses that will be used in energy and transportation regulatory and commercial disputes.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics environment/energy sector, or related field. They will also have a strong academic record and exceptional analytical skill, quantitative skill, as well as a demonstrated ability to communicate complex analyses clearly and coherently. One - two years of prior experience in the field of energy, transport, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
You will work independently within a team environment on regulatory and litigation casework and help manage workflows. Areas include energy market, competition and regulatory analysis, economic damages and valuation, and other work pertaining to expert testimony in regulatory proceedings and commercial disputes.
