Requirements and responsibilities
What you'll do:
- Administration and configuration of IaC (Infrastructure as code) driven cloud environment (AWS, Azure)
- Deployment of new applications and development of monitoring programs
- There are several technologies being used throughout the environment starting from Azure (AKS, Cosmos DB, Virtual Machines), AWS (Lambda, Cloudfront, EC2, S3), Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- As an administrator, you will manage the existing environments, participate in release management, develop, and apply algorithms for monitoring of the existing environments.
- Part of the job is a design of the hosting environments for various applications and propose the best IT solutions (e.g. monitoring tools, security, etc.)
What you'll bring:
- At least 3 years of experience building cloud/on-premise application modernization/movement/adoption using virtualization, DevOps pipelines, shared infrastructure deployments
- 2+ years of experience building IaC and automated configuration management
- 2+ years of experience Databases is good to have
- Experience with deployments, containerization
- Good communication skills
- Financial Domain experience is a big plus
Key skillsets:
- Computer skills – administrator
- Linux server – administration (mandatory)
- Cloud services – AWS (preferable) / Azure
- Azure DevOps (VSTS previously) Continuous Integration module
- Public Cloud (AWS, Azure)
- Databases
- Scripting
- Bash
Nice to have:
- Azure Service Fabric experience
- Python, Groovy, NodeJS knowledge
- Mongo
- Agile software methodology – SCRUM
- Design Patterns, Git
- Fluent English
