FPGA Design EngineerJob Summary• Design and implement digital circuits using PLDs such as FPGAs and CPLDs.• Perform peer code reviews and verification testing.• Work with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into functional specifications.• Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.• Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues and provide timely solutions.• Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify functionality.• Stay current with industry trends and developments related to PLDs.• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve performance, reduce cost, and enhance functionality.• Work collaboratively with other engineers to integrate hardware and software components.• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve overall design quality.Job Requirements• Strong understanding of digital circuit design principles, including HDL programming (VHDL, Verilog).• Proficient in using industry-standard design tools such as Quartus and ModelSim.• Experience with high-speed communication protocols sch as PCLe, Ethernet, and USB.• Familiarity with hardware debugging tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG.• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Education• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.• 8+ years of experience in digital circuit designs using PLDs such as FPGAs and CPLDs.• Experience with Intel based platforms & embedded programming as a plus.• Strong aptitude for learning new technologiesCompensationThe base salary range for this position is $122500 - $172200 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
