Job Summary
The IT Command Center, Lead is the subject matter expert and responsible for managing and monitoring Bread Financials IT infrastructure. This role will spend a majority of their time working in the IT Command Center focused on incident management and remediation. This candidate should be a continuous learner, adaptable and a critical thinker.
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
IT Analyzation - Analyze, diagnose, and resolve IT incidents proactively and escalate issues to technical support groups as appropriate. Analyze system errors and take corrective action. Analyze and manipulate processing schedules in accordance to established procedures and service level expectations.
Communications and Collaboration - Collaborate with IT Team in developing solutions to known problems to ensure the availability of production systems. Communicate general, technical and operational policies, procedures and best practices. Respond to complex problems escalated by leadership. Provide clear and concise executive level communication and updates on status, issues and risks.
Process Management - Manage production systems to ensure efficient and effective processing. Perform testing as required, to confirm network availability and resiliency. Identify risks, and communicate and mitigate them utilizing the Incident and Problem Management processes.
Leadership and Coaching - Plan and execute staffing projections, associate development plans, mentoring and guidance for all front-line associates. Document progress and adherence and provide course-correcting action as appropriate. Be a SME for training less experienced IT Command Center Analysts. Demonstrate the sense of urgency and commitment required for the success of a 24/7 operation and participate in the teams on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support. Represent the IT Command Center on critical or enterprise-wide environment issues and be a driver during crisis management situations.

This role is shift based (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and shift could vary depending on the need of the business.

Minimum Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
4+ years of experience working in a network operations center, SOC, or other operations center environment.
-
4+ years of experience leading a team of people in a work setting.
-
Experience working in ServiceNow.
-
Experience working with Splunk.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, information technology, computer science or related field of study.

ITILv4 Foundations Certification.
-
CCNA Certification or similar.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and experience with Azure.

Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell etc.).

Experience working with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace, or other industry-wide monitoring tools.

Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products.

Strong organizational, problem-solving skills and verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term and long-term basis.
-
Ability to work with little to no supervision in a high-pressure situation and be able to multitask effectively.
Typical Starting Range:
$86,100.00 - $156,000.00
Full Salary Range for position:
California:$98,800.00 - $195,000.00
Colorado:$86,100.00 - $163,900.00
New York:$94,700.00 - $195,000.00
Washington:$90,400.00 - $179,100.00
The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safety Time per calendar year at the beginning of each year and is prorated in the associate’s first year of employment.
Hired associates will be able to elect to purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
