About Slalom Build Platform Engineering

Slalom Build’s Platform Engineering capability focuses on building friction free tooling that enables our product engineering teams and clients to create custom software solutions. The goal is to do this in a reliable, secure, scalable, and observable way. Engineers who have a passion for fueling efficiency, automation, and collaboration are right at home working across our diverse team.

We leverage services, and custom automation from a wide variety of sources:

• Public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• End-to-end continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, BitBucket, etc.)
• Configuration Management/Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, etc.)
• Container tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS, etc.)
• Languages (Golang, Python, Java, etc.)
• Cloud security (identity and access management, firewalls, etc.)

We offer a flexible working environment to balance the need to work independently, with some days that may require in-person collaboration at our office.
