Job Purpose:
The Network and Engineering Intern will provide support to the Network Development Team, OSP Planning. The primary role will involve collecting technical data that will assist with Hawaiian Telecom’s Climate Action Plan. Additional tasks may include reviewing schematic, electrical and scale drawings for engineering plans and specifications. Duties may also include updating databases which will include going on site walks to validate plant records. Frequent interaction with Planning and Engineering is required to coordinate related work activities. Performs other related, marginal duties associated with engineering as required.
