Our Software Engineers spend most of their time hands-on in the creation, feature development, and subsequent maintenance of NeueHealth applications and systems. Our team goal is to ensure business processes are scalable for future growth. We do that through designing efficient data structures, automations, and custom tools to allow operations to efficiently manage processes. This role has an element of supporting legacy systems while automations are designed.This is a remote position & preferred locations for applicants are MN, AZ, TX & FL.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESThe Software Engineer description is intended to point out major responsibilities within the role, but it is not limited to these items.• Full stack development of online properties and mobile applications.• Developing APIs for ETL pipelines.• Collaborate directly with teammates to solve business needs and drive solutions to solve key business priorities.• Contribute across the complete development lifecycle, including technical design, work estimation, implementation, testing, and addressing feedback or bugs.• Lead and contribute to continually improve the team's productivity, culture, and code quality.• Create documentation and processes as needed to improve team productivity and transparency.EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience required• Four (4) or more years of software development experience and/or a reviewable portfolio of work with hands on experience in NodeJS, JavaScript (Typescript), C#, SAAS, HTML. Frameworks and Lib packages including NexUS, Apollo Server (Express) and ReactJS• Backend experience with knowledge of API development and ETL pipelines using GQL and REST• Experience building/deploying/maintaining scalable and always available consumer facing products• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM)• Experienced with coding microservices hosted in Kubernetes• Familiarity with Azure Cloud or similar technologies• Knowledge of data normalization and experience in SQL or Spark is preferred• Seasoned estimation skills — can reasonably judge the complexity of a feature and appropriately break it down (if needed) and size it;• Strong work ethic plus follow-through on commitments (works smart to get the job done right and on time)• Proven track record of high standards for self, team, company, and ultimately clients• Proactive approach to problem solving (acting without being told, driving for measurable results, etc.).A reasonable estimate of the range is $80,000 - $136,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity.
