Operating Room Specialist (Registered Nurse)
Neuralink is looking for an Operating Room Specialist (Registered Nurse) to support surgical case coverage in the Operating Room during implantation of the implant and contribute to Neuralink Surgery process improvement projects.
Skills

- Knowledge of VNS diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Surgical equipment maintenance
- Coordination with outside suppliers
Responsibilities
- Conduct surgical data collection and analysis
- Write, edit and oversee all surgery-related SOPs
- Support staff in product-related matters including VNS diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming assistance
- Collaborate with surgeons and hospital staff supporting case coverage for clinical trials
- Provide feedback to design engineers and anyone working on surgery process improvements
- Organize the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery
- Purchase and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Anticipate the needs of team members with respect to the requirements of a particular surgical procedure
- Ensure the operating room environment is safe and equipment functions properly
Education
- College degree in health sciences-related field or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- 1 year of experience working in an operating room
