Court Interpreter 1/Court Interpreter 2 (Spanish)-Hunterdon/Warren

This is a Temporary position working onsite in our Clarksville, TN location. The Korean/English translator will be able to determine, evaluate and find solutions to communication barriers, and process information quickly. The translator should have experience working in a multi-cultural setting, manufacturing and in fast-paced environments. Job Duties May Include But Not Limited To Translating communication from Korean to English and English to Korean. Some of this communication will consist of policies, procedures, operations and processes as well as translating documents in written or typed form.Shadow various team members in order to provide on the spot translation as needed.Communicate in Korean to headquarters.Observe team communication and provide resolutions for possible miscommunications.Use of proper English and Korean terminology avoiding slang terms that may cause confusion.Work Environment/Physical Demands• This position works in a manufacturing and office setting.• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to write, type, talk and hear . The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.• The employee is occasionally required to sit and stand for long periods .• This position may work with hazardous materials where personal protective equipment (PPE) is necessary and specific procedures must be followed to adhere to safety regulations.TravelThere is no travel expected with this position.Hankook & Company is an equal opportunity employer.
