The Principal HRBP should demonstrate passion to strategically partner with the global HRBP team, People Team, Finance, Legal and Tech Leaders to drive an innovative and growth mindset culture.This is a global Principal HR Business Partner role and you will partner with the Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) organization. This role will balance business unit goals with regional complexities and HR deliverables while skillfully balancing global strategy and execution to deliver business outcomes and a positive employee experience. The role will provide strategic partnership and effective support in a manner that is consistent with local laws and best practices and will help shape the future of work through strong partnerships, data analysis, trending issues, assessing root cause analysis and making recommendations to influence positive outcomes.Opportunity to work from a remote office may be available depending on applicant location.What you'll do• Primary HR Business Partner for EPD Relics in global HR lifecycle processes. Primary advisor to CxO, VP+ and their orgs.• Provides executive consultation to design and develop people, talent, and organizational development strategies to drive global business alignment.• Leads global change by positively designing and implementing a global or regional change management strategy with minimal disruption to product rollouts, key projects, etc.• Drives thought leadership closely with the global HRBP team to align strategies, key priorities, and processes, including directly or indirectly managing other HRBP team Relics.• Analyzes data and trends and recommends, develops, and delivers on plans to improve employee experiences, including engagement, DEI, retention and performance.• Drives thought leadership with our People Team, FP&A leadership, and other parts of the organization to lead, develop and deliver strategic global and regional HR initiatives that include: global organizational design, talent management, employee relations, compensation, culture, diversity, talent development, and performance management to provide creative strategies and solutions for the business.• Drives leadership and actively partners with local culture advocates to drive, strengthen and maintain regional culture and organizational trust. Prioritizing and comprehending the business's goals and strategies and developing strategic and tactical HR plans in alignment with the business's goals.• Serves as an executive advisor and consultant on initiatives to use HR processes and resources to achieve high performance successfully, exceed strategic objectives, and adapt to and manage organizational and business changes.• Models partnerships with our Talent Acquisition team to advise on global business and develop successful recruiting strategies.• Project manages special HR assigned project teams and business unit committees.• Adheres to and / or sets new standards / upleveling of standard practices and methodologies. Analyzes data and trends and recommends, develops, and delivers plans to improve employee experiences, including engagement, dei, retention, and performance.• Supports compliance with all local laws and regulations, security, and data integrity, including personal and confidential information.This role requires• 15+ years of progressive experience in HR, including strong previous HR Business Partner experience with an organization that is fast paced and customer driven• Experience and exposure to a variety of HR facets including organization development, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning & development and compensation• Proven ability to effectively interact with all organizational levels in a multicultural environment and build strong, trusted relationships• Excellent consulting and conflict management skills, ability to coach and influence leaders at various levels• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Experience managing regional challenges and complex regional projects while working across multiple geographies with HRBPs, COEs and Finance partners.Bonus points if you have• Degree in HR, Business, Engineering or related field• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred• HR experience with a global SaaS organization (preferably experience supporting engineering organizations)• Tech industry experience highly preferred• Prior work experience with a multinational company headquartered in the USFostering a diverse, welcoming and inclusive environment is important to us. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan.
