Job Overview We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer with experience in Cannabis Label Design to join our team as a 1099 subcontractor. This role is perfect for someone seeking flexible hours—your workload will vary each week depending on how busy we are. You can take on as much or as little as you’d like, as long as the jobs are coming in. In this position, you'll have the creative freedom to craft unique and eye-catching labels, working directly with our customers to bring their visions to life. If you have a strong portfolio showcasing your work in the cannabis space and experience in setting up files for print, we’d love to hear from you!This is a fantastic opportunity for graphic designers wanting to make some extra cash and take on side projects.Duties• Create label designs for a variety of cannabis products, including flower, edibles, and concentrates.• Create unique and eye-catching cannabis label designs using Adobe Illustrator, ensuring files are set up as high-quality vector EPS files for print.• Setting up files correctly with layers on Illustrator.• Set up files for spot color clear embossing and other specialized printing techniques to enhance label aesthetics.• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs meet strategic objectives.• Must Be able to work directly with customers from start to finish and with consistent communication with the customer and update him/her on each step of the design process.Experience• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.• High School Diploma or GED• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.• Familiarity with sign manufacturing processes is advantageous but not required.• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.• Experience with Large Format Printers, UV printers is a plus.Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 4 – 12 per weekSchedule:• Day shift• Evening shift• Night shiftWork Location: Hybrid remote in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312
