Senior Revenue Accountant
The Senior Revenue Accountant will play an instrumental role in revenue, accounts receivable, and commissions accounting in compliance with ASC 606. They will help improve operational excellence standards and processes to support Newsela's growth.
Skills
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Exposure to ASC 606, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and commissions
- Experience in financial statement audits
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and process-oriented
- Experience in industry accounting preferred
- Experience with NetSuite, Netsuite ARM, and NetSuite Billing is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate opportunity to cash (OTC) reporting each month
- Evaluate and improve revenue accounting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for operational excellence
- Monitor customer collections progress
- Assist with commissions and other accounting areas
