Location:New York, New YorkShift:Day (United States of America)Description:Lead Product Manager (Project Lead) – TransformationEssential Job Duties:• Handles all aspects of product management, including product planning, market research, development coordination, stakeholder management and lifecycle management to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement.• Oversees outcome-focused initiatives from discovery/inception to completion.• Develops and implements strategic plans to gain stakeholder and leadership buy-in, maximizing the value of Transformation products• Manages and contributes to the development of business plans to support Line of Business and Senior/Executive initiatives.• Manages projects with an emphasis on project planning, communication planning, risk assessment, project implementation, go-live planning and post go-live maintenance and support.• Organizes project teams, establishes priorities, develops project and risk mitigation plans, maintains scope documents, and analyzes project success metrics.• Provides overall direction and guidance, coordinates schedules and oversees related project activities to ensure the work and documentation meet adhere to department and service line standards.• Establishes and maintains communication with project team, users, committees/work groups, vendors and management.• Addresses challenges using a comprehensive approach to grasp the issue and implement the most suitable solution.• Works with internal/external contacts: May work with outside consultants during the life cycle of a project, may work with third party Vendors in the acquisition or development of software products, may work with internal developers to build/support internal/external solutions and interact with Business Unit Management on a regular basis• Collaborates with department and project teams to contribute to the design and implementation of internal operational policies and procedures following solution installations and upgrades.• Participate in the execution and implementation of corporate initiatives and change events to help ensure both divisional and corporate goals and objectives are achieved.• Develops innovative approaches for dealing with customer needs that are also aligned with overall organization goals and objectives.Preferred Criteria:• Master’s degree.• Experience working in healthcare.• Previous experience in product management or similar role.• Transformation/Lean/Entrepreneurial mindset.• Experience supervising or supporting junior team members.• High performing leader – believes encouraging effective behavior is the key to project success.• Influencer – is able to develop effective relationships and credibility with local team members who may not directly report to them.• Self-directed – confident and capable in ambiguous environments; believes work product is a reflection of one’s self.• Problem structuring / resolution – seeks to understand the core of an issue before solving. Once understood, moves to resolve the issue in a timely and collaborative effort.• High business acumen – understands which levers impact a company’s bottom line and which are proxies to success.
