Associate Recruiter I

NextGen and GTA – A Kelly Telecom Company is part of KELLY’s SETT (Science, Engineering, Technology, and Telecom) Business Unit. We are searching for a team of Associate Recruiters to join us in Chicago, IL!


The position will be in office 5 days/week for training, then hybrid (3 days/week in office) after the training period. The goal for this team is to learn recruiting and transition from Associate Recruiter I, to Associate Recruiter II, and finally to a remote Technical Recruiter after meeting performance goals.


Target start date for this class of recruiters is May 12th, 2025.


Interview Process for this role is as follows:

1. Prescreen with TA (30-minute phone call)

2. Interview with Recruiting Manager (45-minute video interview)

3. Recruiting Personality Test

4. Final Panel Presentation - In-Person in the Chicago Office the week of 4/21/2025


Job Duties:
  • Attract, source, and conduct in-depth screenings to assess potential candidates for the level of interest, technical skills match, qualifications, and compensation expectations
  • Use sourcing techniques in identifying talent for a variety of different level positions
  • Coordinate phone and video interviews
  • Responsible for offer negotiations and talent assessments
  • Network and maintain relationships with key talent for short and/or long-term opportunities
  • Stay current on market trends, competitors within our industry and innovative sourcing strategies
  • Attend local contractor care events
  • Manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Be able to create unique Boolean search strings
  • Work closely and collaboratively within a team 


Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED is required; Associates Degree or higher is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of business experience, preferably in a sales or metric-driven role
  • A strong “people person” who is energized by building relationships
  • Passionate and hungry to make a big impact
  • Competitive and resilient
  • Highly resourceful with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proactive - taking initiative and follow through is a must
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to maintain accountability for processes and procedures

$24 - $24 an hour
In addition to the hourly base pay, Associate Recruiters will be eligible for uncapped commission based on placements made. Additional details to be shared during the interview process on the commission plan.
