We have several programs set up to ensure our Futurists feel included and are enabled to be themselves. We have six Employee Resource Groups who each have their own mission to help foster inclusion and diversity throughout the organization.
The 1RF team (our global culture team) and our ERGs work together to raise awareness and celebrate different cultures through company-wide events and fireside chats. Past events include presentations by Futurists on Bisexuality and Bi-Erasure, Being Black, Mental Health and Wellbeing Awareness, and a Veterans Day Panel.
We create an inclusive and fair hiring process by structuring results-based job descriptions that are non-gender biased, and by actively sourcing candidates with diverse backgrounds and characteristics. Hiring managers go through interview training which stresses the importance of fair interview practices and how to remove bias from the interview process.
