Business Operations & Strategy Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Analyst to report to the EVP of Strategy & Chief of Staff and support the Office of the CEO. The Business Operations & Strategy team is NinjaTrader’s internal consulting arm that is tasked with helping stakeholders across the business problem solve, strategize and solution on strategic matters. This is a highly visible role that offers a unique opportunity to work with cross-functional leadership on business analyses, strategy development, and business case creation. In this role you will also go in-depth on business analysis, customer analysis, and market intelligence. From day one, you will have a front row seat to strategic decision making and analysis that will help NinjaTrader continue to provide a best-in-class offering for its customers. There is a lot of room for growth in this role and with demonstrated success, you will begin to drive cross-functional strategic initiatives.

In this position, you will:

• Collaborate with key business stakeholders to develop and implement business unit strategies
• Lead cross-functional efforts to deliver objective analysis & insights
• Support business stakeholders in the development of business cases
• Conduct in-depth research and business analysis to identify key business trends, threats, and opportunities
• Analyze customer activity and behavior to drive key insights, trends, and recommendations
• Develop analyses on business performance, market size, and areas for growth opportunities
• Research and develop analyses on market trends, industry developments, emerging technologies, and other market developments affecting our business and/or strategic initiatives
• Monitor business unit KPIs and progress towards the organization’s strategic goals
• Build and maintain databases with industry data, research insights, industry landscape developments, and market trends
• Assist in the preparation of materials for the Executive Team and Board of Directors
• Take meeting notes during senior leadership meetings

Key Position Requirements

• +2 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, business intelligence or a similar role; Experience in FinTech preferred but not required
• Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, SQL, and PowerBI skills required
• Experience conducting in-depth quantitative analyses
• Extremely analytical; you must be able to consume large amounts of messy data and create complex models and forecasts
• Experience creating business cases
• Very strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence
• Strong work ethic with demonstrated initiative
• Willingness to work long hours when required
