What You'll Do

AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services, including Lambda, CloudWatch, Cognito, DynamoDB, Elastic Load Balancing, API Gateway, and others.
Automation & CI/CD: Develop and implement automated workflows for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Utilize tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI to streamline deployments and updates.
Monitoring & Performance: Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other tools to ensure system health, performance, and availability. Proactively address issues and optimize system performance.
Security & Compliance: Manage security and compliance for AWS environments, including IAM roles, policies, and encryption. Ensure best practices for securing cloud infrastructure and data.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and provide support for deploying and scaling applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and deployment processes.

What You Know

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with a strong focus on AWS services.
Extensive experience with AWS services, including Lambda, CloudWatch, Cognito, DynamoDB, Elastic Load Balancing, and API Gateway.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Proven experience in designing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure.
Demonstrated experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues and inefficiencies.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
