About the role

Join Nivoda as our Head of IT, orchestrating a seamless symphony of technology for our dynamic and ever-growing team of over 500 individuals. As the Head of IT, you'll ensure that our internal IT operations not only run smoothly but reach new heights of effectiveness and cohesion across the global organization. You will lead the development and implementation of our IT strategy, mature our IT infrastructure, and develop our existing IT team.

What You'll Do:

  • Global IT Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction for our internal IT operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • IT Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the company's growth and innovation.

  • Infrastructure: Lead the design, implementation and management of our IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, MDM and IDP (OKTA).

  • Team Development: Develop and mentor our existing IT teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring their IT needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring they deliver high-quality services that meet our needs and budget.

  • Service desk:  Showcase your expertise by taking ownership of first and second-line IT support and service requests. You'll ensure SLAs are met, incidents are resolved promptly and our procurement exceeds users' expectations.

  • Risk reduction:  Lead the charge in maturing our end user security, developing and enforcing IT policies supporting business continuity, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.

Your experience and qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in a senior IT role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategies, maturing IT infrastructure, and leading IT teams.

  • Strong understanding of IT best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing (e.g., AWS), cybersecurity, and enterprise software applications.

  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity standards, network security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in IT budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior experience in a scale-up environment.

  • Experience supporting remote staff.

  • IT certifications such as ITIL or CISSP.

  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace.
