About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. As a key technical resource, you will be responsible for the continued development, optimisation, and improvement of our integration with the NetSuite platform, bridging finance, product, and engineering. You will be the go-to technical expert, ensuring seamless integration and operation of the system as we deliver new business capabilities. You will also help upskill our engineering organization through bringing best practice and architectural thought leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Own the integration between Nivoda systems and Netsuite, ensuring robustness and transparency.

• Partner closely with our head of accounting and key stakeholders to gather requirements for new business flows. Take a lead in prioritization and delivery.

• Own delivery of new features or functionality.

• Develop and manage integrations between NetSuite and third-party services.

• Implement changes in product flows and controls within NetSuite to enhance business processes.

• Build processes to ensure any integration failures are swiftly escalated and resolved.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for transaction related issues.

• Mentor other engineers and champion engineering best practices.

• Empower our user base to run autonomously in their operational and month-end/quarter-end close procedures.

Your experience and qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (NodeJS preferred), SQL. 

• Strong system design knowledge. Strong understanding of design patterns. 

• Experienced technical mentor. 

• Experienced at implementing best in class engineering practices and methodologies.

• A strong understanding of financial accounting and business operations.

• Strong coordination and stakeholder management.

• Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and NetSuite customisations is a bonus.
