The opportunity
Are you passionate about defining delightful interactions and exceptional visual design?
The GenStudio design team seeks a Senior Designer to help us harness the power of
creation, marketing, and analytics tools through developing new GenAI powered
marketing workflows. As an integral member of this team, you will push the boundaries
of what’s possible today while keeping a keen focus on enterprise customers, our
strategic business priorities, and the changing landscape of GenAI driven marketing.
In this role, you will:
In this highly collaborative role, you’ll drive the visual and motion design of the core
features of Gen Studio including home, create, campaigns, content, insights, Brands as
well as the push the other Generative AI experience at Adobe. You’ll be an integral part
of setting a new standard for visual design for Adobe as well as the Gen AI industry as a
whole.
On a fast-moving team, you’ll drive forward through rapid explorations, feedback, and
iterations focused on product goals. Your strong visual and verbal communication skills
and capacity to remain user and outcome focused are paramount in helping you
influence and persuade.
Craft – you bring exceptional design expertise and quality in everything you do. You
know that quality requires simplicity, clarity, and focus.
Drive – Passion and ability to drive from uncertainty to understanding to detailed
designs.
Collaborate – work closely with experts in the AI/ML and marketing world to craft
innovative and connected experiences.
Simplify – Find every opportunity to build simplicity out of complexity. Make a plan and
take action in ambiguous circumstances.
Influence – drive alignment and reduce complexity through visual storytelling and design
artifacts.
Build – as a key member of the team you will be instrumental in helping build an
effective and dynamic team and design culture within the GenStudio organization
Arrange – bring order through connecting dots to leverage capabilities across
GenStudio and our partner teams.
What you’ll need to succeed
Must-haves:
• Ability to partner closely with prototypers and system designers to build highly
intuitive visual experiences
• Experience working iteratively with engineering teams to bring visions and
product strategy to life
• A background and understanding of marketing, creative, and or data tooling for
enterprise teams and companies
• Proven interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and storytelling skills
• Willingness and ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Adobe Design
team
• Excellent design craft and the ability to blend that with strong intuition for
business
• A real passion for collaborating across many subject areas, teams, and functions
• Ability to discern when to deliver and when to push for more clarity or definition
• Comfort making leaps from hunches to prototypes
• Experience with at-scale workflows, automation and data visualization
• College degree or equivalent practical experience in design with an emphasis on
UX, graphic design, HCI, or related design field
• Desire to co-create with customers and clients
Nice-to-haves:
• Prior experience working within a creative agency or an enterprise creative team
• Prior experience crafting design strategy for GenAI, platform experiences, and/or
systems
• Deep knowledge around and passion for accessible and inclusive design
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $112,000 -- $214,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
