Electrical Engineer / HW Design Engineer

Location: Fort Myers, Florida, US

Required: US Citizens/GC

Project Description:

Hardware component (PCB / ECU) design for boats / marine industry.

Responsibilities:

Design & develop custom embedded hardware devices as well as power electronics
Work with a contract manufacturer on developing factory acceptance testing
Create and maintain documentation through the development process including specifications, test plans, circuit designs, schematics, PCB layout, etc

Mandatory Skills Description:

10+ years of experience in designing embedded hardware
Prior circuit design / schematic capture, and PCB layout experience
Altium Designer OR Altium 365 experience

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

Familiarity with permanent magnet motors, induction motors, and/or motor controls - nice to have
