Scope of Work:
Title: Product Designer
Role: Weekly: 20-40/hrs
Responsibilities:
Design Leadership:
• Lead the design process for digital products from concept to delivery, ensuring a user-centered approach and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, establish design goals, and drive the creation of impactful design solutions.
• Mentor junior designers, provide guidance on design principles and methodologies, and conduct design reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
Design Execution:
• Create high-quality user interface designs, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate product concepts and enhance user experiences.
• Utilize industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD, along with Webflow and Maze, to produce designs that are visually appealing, functional, and scalable.
• Work closely with frontend developers and other stakeholders to iterate on designs, address feedback, and ensure seamless implementation.
Design Strategy:
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Define and document design systems, patterns, and guidelines to maintain consistency across products and promote efficiency in the design process.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business objectives and user needs into clear design requirements and specifications.
Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices through self-learning, attending conferences, and networking with industry peers.
• Proactively identify areas for process optimization and innovation within the design workflow, and implement improvements to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive design culture by actively participating in design critiques, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional meetings.
• Effectively communicate design decisions, rationale, and trade-offs to stakeholders at all levels, and solicit feedback to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials, branding assets, and visual content that align with product design principles and brand guidelines.
ATS and CRM Experience:
• Demonstrate proficiency in designing and utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to streamline recruitment processes and manage customer interactions effectively.
Education Sector Experience:
• Showcase experience working within the education sector, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities associated with designing digital products for educational purposes.
User Research Experience:
• Utilize user research methodologies, such as surveys, interviews, and usability studies, to gather insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points, and integrate findings into the design process to create user-centric solutions.
Additional Duties:
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Digital Nomadic Solutions team to support project objectives and overall team success.
