Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Engineer at Nomic, you will work on the Atlas product to develop, deploy, and scale automated methods. These methods will enable users to collaboratively explore and build with unstructured data at massive scale, driving data-driven insights and AI workflows.

What You'll Do:

• Architect and scale the backbone of Atlas to be resilient, well-crafted, and future-proof.

• Innovate new ways to interact with embedding spaces, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in AI-driven exploration.

• Engineer and optimize algorithms that can seamlessly process hundreds of millions of data points—whether they’re text, images, or embeddings like scaling our interactive map of Wikipedia (yes, we think it’s tiny!) to encompass even larger datasets: Atlas - Wikipedia Map

• Collaborate with platform engineering to deliver new features that empower our enterprise clients, making Atlas the go-to tool for business solutions.
