This is a fully remote role that may require occasional travel, including to Resilia’s New York and New Orleans offices for collaborative opportunities such as team retreats and gatherings. #LI-remote


Market Opportunity


Every nonprofit is unique and so are their capacity needs. Yet they find it difficult to access capacity building solutions that meet them where they are. Resilia’s mission is to strengthen and uplift nonprofit organizations by elevating their stories, driving advocacy efforts, and prioritizing those that are underserved through long-term capacity building. We serve nonprofits, foundations, corporations, governments, and other grantmakers, centered on trust-based philanthropy principles and meeting changemakers where they are.

  • Funder Program - Sponsored by grantmakers (foundations, governments, corporations), nonprofits are able to build mission-facing and back office capacity in a manner that best suits them. About the role


The Nonprofit Partnerships Manager - East Coast plays a critical role in carrying out Resilia’s mission and strategic goals, acting as a trusted advisor for nonprofit leaders throughout their onboarding experience, and guaranteeing that our customers fully understand and quickly obtain value from our product. As a key owner of our customer relationships, you will create and present content and provide consulting sessions to various customers, who are looking to build their capacity and strengthen their nonprofit. You have hands-on experience in nonprofit operations and are eager to share this with our nonprofit customers.


Our ideal candidate is a service-oriented self-starter with customer-facing/stakeholder-facing experience and nonprofit industry experience. The candidate should have impeccable communication and organizational skills with an eye for detail and process improvement and knowledge in DEI, nonprofit boards, fundraising, or nonprofit financial management. This role is part of the Customer Success Team and reports to the Director of Community Impact. This role presents a unique development opportunity within Resilia by working with customers at various stages in the nonprofit life cycle.


What You Will Do


  • Become an expert on Resilia’s programs and the application/approval process to obtain nonprofit status
  • Lead consultation sessions and workshops with customers regarding Resilia’s capacity-building resources and program features, especially surrounding board management, development, and topics related to high-performing nonprofit boards.
  • Onboard new customers, supporting their nonprofit capacity-building needs, and helping them navigate Resilia’s online programs
  • Serve as the primary contact for nonprofit customers onboarding (e.g. introductory calls, product demos, expectations setting, and management)
  • Serve as the voice of the customer in collaboration with the Product Development and Engineering teams to ensure that the program technology translates to an exceptional customer experience
  • Monitor progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables, related to Resilia’s nonprofit users
  • Communicate proactively and cross-functionally to encourage, identify problems, create solutions, and implement process improvements
  • Other responsibilities as needed


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 3 years in an external or client-facing role that required working with various stakeholders (e.g. Program Officers, Program Managers, nonprofit Executive Directors, and nonprofit staff with varied responsibilities)
  • Bilingual in Spanish; comfortable conducting customer conversations in English or Spanish
  • Advanced knowledge or experience working in the nonprofit, foundation, or government sectors
  • Hands-on experience in nonprofit board development and management (building and engaging a nonprofit board) and board governance (bylaws, board structures, committees)
  • Passionate about Resilia’s mission and vision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Ability to confidently present to various stakeholders including customers, team members, and leadership
  • Ability to collaborate and support various stakeholders including those with different backgrounds, life experiences, and expertise
  • Self-starter with a high level of intellectual curiosity that executes independently and takes incredible pride in their work
  • Excited about working with customers and providing an exceptional support experience
