Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Products Manager position. The Industrial Product Manager works with the Industrial Team to enhance growth and expansion of the Industrial segment in the markets we serve. The primary objective of the role is to provide support to the Industrial sales team, marketing and purchasing bringing efficiency and streamlining to the industrial operations through continual improvement and strategic initiatives. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work to establish positive relationships with Norco vendors to support ongoing business needs
  • Support Sales Managers to negotiate pricing and terms with key industrial vendors that fit with Norco strategy
  • Collaborate with Industrial RVPs and Sales Managers, ensuring alignment of strategy towards organized goals and profitability
  • Collaborate on consistent communication with purchasing to promote identified products
  • Work closely with all interdepartmental teams as required to achieve organizational excellence
  • Work with vendors to manage and track the marketing and NDF program requests identified by leadership
  • Manage and maintain Norco’s ESP Program (Educational Support Program)
  • Create and manage reports to support major vendor accounts
  • Manage Gas Broker accounts
  • Support EVP / Sales Managers on coordination of regional contracts
  • Collaborate with the EVP, Sales Managers and Purchasing on the development of the Industrial Core products program
  • Coordinate with Industrial Sales Managers and vendors in creating and developing promotional sales materials and products
  • Follow Safe work practices in performance of all duties and follow the company’s safety policies daily
  • Stay informed of and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Work well with team
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or needed

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years’ experience working in industrial setting managing products/vendors or industrial sales
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to adapt to and manage changing priorities
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to create and execute strategic marketing plans and manage budgets
  • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of TIMS database preferred
