Responsibilities

Monitoring the database system and performing routine health checks
Deploying security patches and bug fixes to test and operational environments
Updating databases with new data and operational/security documentation
Managing database cloud environment with minimal downtime and ensuring data integrity
Designing and implementing scalable database structures
Optimizing database performance through index creation and query tuning
Collaborating with software maintenance teams for CI/CD pipeline alignment
Planning and executing database upgrades, migrations, and patches

Education

Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of experience or Master's degree with 2-6 years of experience
DoD 8570 compliance certifications (CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+)
