Project Overview:• The outcome of this work will be a more effective way to manage the demands of workforce strategy which is now managed by many cumbersome spreadsheets.Contractor’s Role:• Works with leaders to define data requirements, create data reports, and dashboards.• Collects, analyzes and summarizes data for reporting and decision making• Design business intelligence solutions using MS Power BI to facilitate workforce strategy decisions.Experience Level:• Level 2Qualifications:• Strong skills in Excel (Pivot tables, pivot charts, vLookup, hLookup)• MicroSoft Power BI (visualizations, interactive reports) [would consider experience in other BI tools like tableau]• SQL helpful• Visio / Process maps• Systems thinker who can connect the dots with eye towards process improvement.Nice to Haves:• Workforce strategy experience, Workday, Beeline, CA PPM(Clarity)Tasks & Responsibilities.• Creating / updating org charts. Organization will benefit from the implementation of a full set of organization charts, dynamically linked to underlying headcount data and active staffing requests. These charts will enable management to view, at a glance: a) span of control for all managers b) distinction in workforce type for every seat (partner, approved open req, req requiring approval, T&M contractor, Managed Service Provider, Fixed Bid contractor); matrix alignments vs direct reports; tenure bands for every T&M contractor.• Workforce planning / general business unit administration.• Spreadsheet work, data analysis, Power BI dashboards, Visio, budget planning and tracking
