With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.NT Asset Management technology team is seeking an experienced and dynamic technology leader to lead the delivery of technology solutions for our Investment Operations Technology teamAs a core member of the Investment Operations Technology Practice, you will lead the team on various initiatives to deliver technology solutions that enables our Investment Operations capabilities that support Client Onboarding, Client Administration and other middle office functionsAs a senior leader, you will work across technology and business teams maximizing performance levels, agility and effectiveness through high degree of decision making, communication, empathetic leadership, talent management and mentoring.You will bring technical skills and solutioning experience leading by exampleMajor Responsibilities• Focused on delivering exceptional solutions and solving business challenges across the Investment Operations capabilities.• Collaborate with business product owners and enterprise teams to drive technology solutions with long-term strategic goals in mind.• Collaborate with Architecture and Data teams to create roadmaps that enable business growth and the future state of the business.• Ability to drive POC’s with latest technologies in marketplace to drive strategic solutioning using an open architecture framework.• Plan, evaluate and hire great talent. Set the performance standards and provide mentoring and training to develop and grow direct reports.• Ensures compliance with all audit, security and risk management requirements.• Should be able to work in a fluid and dynamic environment, and understand how to effectively communicate complex concepts that can be understood by senior leaders.• Leverage program management skills to ensure in timely and under budget delivery of tech initiatives/programs.• Working closely with Service Delivery teams to ensure production stability and resiliency of the applications.Education• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer, analytical and/or business field of study required; Master’s degree a plus.Professional Qualifications• 15+ yrs experience leading complex programs / projects with varied technology stacks that covers on-prem and cloud native technologies• Demonstrated Solutions Architecture and Data Architecture experience on large scale programs• Experience building Event driven and messaging architectures• Experience in workflow management tools like Appian• Experience in building client facing applications using frameworks like ReactJS• Experience in building applications from the ground up using cloud native technologies• In-depth experience in working with databases like Snowflake, Oracle with keen focus on modeling, performance and design• Experience in laying out strategic roadmaps and staggered delivery plans working closely with business partners and other stakeholders• Proficiency with Agile (Scrum/SAfe) and Waterfall delivery methodologies.• A background in conducting team gatherings, distributing action points and responsibilities, and overseeing the comprehensive progress of projects, with strong experience using ADO Boards• Track record of hiring, developing, and engaging a diverse and high-performing teams and managing performance by driving a culture of accountability.• Experience with range of technologies including database experience working with vast amounts of data, building and integrating API’s into platforms, Micro services architecture, Client facing application development, Java, J2EE and pythonWorking With UsAs a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
