As a Sterilizing Technician at Northwestern Medicine, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide exceptional patient care. Located at 300 Randall Rd., Geneva, IL, this casual, as-needed position welcomes individuals who are ready to embrace a hands-on role in our healthcare team. Your primary duties will include cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are safe and ready for use in patient care. You'll be responsible for receiving, stocking, packaging, and distributing these vital materials while adhering to our strict quality assurance processes. Beyond just handling instruments, you'll also manage inventory, reorder supplies, and correctly dispose of biohazardous items, making sure everything meets our rigorous standards.
