As a Medical Director - Value / Quality & Risk you have deep subject matter expertise in our core Solution areas - Patient Access, Population Health, or Revenue Cycle - and also has the breadth of aptitude to perform cross-functionally across the company, including partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Marketing. You may even be coming from roles where you are an executive or senior manager, and you are looking to be more hands on. Leveraging your domain expertise, you have the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technologies to build healthcare automation solutions and partner with health systems across the country to put our products into action and deliver transformational outcomes.
You will…
Business value: Lead the development of business cases and opportunity identification pre-Sales leveraging our proprietary HealthCheck consulting engagement. Partner with customers to identify success metrics and business cases for leveraging Notable Platform capabilities, leading the measurement, analysis, and communication of value and impact throughout the customer lifecycle.
Product development: Partner with Notable Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams in creation of new Solutions, new features, new use cases leveraging Notable Platform capabilities, including identifying highest impact opportunities, influencing detailed product and feature development, and running lean product experiments with customers to de-risk new concepts. Ensure that our product roadmap is aligned to customer business value.
Go-to-market: Engage prospective customers around value propositions for specific use cases and areas of business value leveraging the Notable Platform. Communicate product value and vision with key stakeholders. Partner with Sales to drive commercial success with new and existing customers.
Evangelize for Notable, including participating in industry thought leadership activities such as panels and conferences, social media, blogs, podcasts
Market research: Stay abreast of healthcare trends, disruptions, and challenges to identify opportunities and align Notable’s solutions to industry needs.
Stakeholder engagement: Engage health system executives and leaders across the customer lifecycle to bridge their clinical, operational, and business needs with Notable solutions, supporting operational and clinical change management, and driving quantifiable value. Work cross-functionally across Notable, with our sales, marketing, delivery, and product teams, bringing domain expertise into each of these areas.
You’re a great fit for our team because…
You have at least 5+ (ideally 8+) years of work experience in a particular healthcare domain, giving you deep subject matter expertise in either Patient Access, Population Health, or Revenue Cycle
You have commercial expertise, for example, you have worked at a software company or other corporate entity where you thrive building business cases, partnering with Sales, and ensuring that your company delivers customer value. Or, youhave worked in consulting, giving you the ability to drop in to a health system to assess their needs, build relationships, identify opportunities, develop a business case, and drive alignment on metrics and outcomes
You are tech-savvy, with some technical aptitude, comfortable engaging a product development and engineering team, having the scars and skills of what it takes to develop and ship product. An exceptional candidate has a lean product mindset and thrives running experiments to de-risk new concepts.
You have a strong process rigor and product mindset, enabling you to rapidly identify and hone in on how to achieve and systematize value and customer outcomes
You have analytical skills, with the ability to dissect complex business scenarios to identify and deliver results
You have a track record of public visibility, either through writing, public speaking, and/or social media
You are comfortable engaging the senior-most executives at a health system and you have exceptional presentation and communication skills, oral and written
You lead through influence, internally and externally
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have passion, grit, and growth mindset
You are able to travel up to 30%
An additional professional degree or certification in one of our key domain areas is a plus, such as clinical - MD, RN, NP, PA - or revenue cycle, such as - MSHCA, FHFMA, FACMPE, CPC.
