Senior Strategic Knowledge & Branding Manager

The opportunity

This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the development and execution of a high-impact internal communication strategy across the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF) and Novo Holdings (NH). You will be responsible for conceptualising, building, and optimising the interconnected intranet platform that will serve as central communication and knowledge-sharing hubs for both organisations.

 Your primary mandate will be to ensure that the intranet becomes the go-to knowledge platform for employees, fostering engagement, accessibility, and cultural alignment. This role requires an experienced professional who can bridge strategic communication, marketing, and digital transformation to deliver a modern, intuitive, and high-value internal communication experience.

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic vision: Define and execute a robust internal communication and intranet strategy aligned with the organisational needs of both NH and NNF.
  • Stakeholder engagement & needs analysis: Build relationships with departments across both organisations to understand their specific communication and collaboration needs.
  • Platform design & development oversight: Drive the design, oversee the development, and execute the launch of the new intranet platform that effectively serves both NH and NNF, ensuring seamless integration with existing tools and workflows.
  • Branding & user experience: Leverage branding, marketing, and communication principles to make the intranet an engaging and visually appealing platform that employees are excited to use.
  • Change management & adoption: Develop and implement strategies to drive adoption and engagement across the entire organisation, ensuring the intranet becomes an essential communications tool.
  • Governance & continuous improvement: Establish clear governance frameworks, content strategies, and performance metrics to ensure the intranet remains relevant, valuable, and aligned with evolving business needs.

About You

We are looking for a high-performing, results-driven individual with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Proven expertise: Extensive experience in internal communication, corporate branding, digital strategy, or related fields.
  • Strategic & execution-oriented: Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution to ensure rapid progress and tangible impact.
  • Strong communication & stakeholder management: Exceptional ability to engage with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, from senior leadership to operational teams.
  • Marketing & branding acumen: Understanding of branding principles and how they can be leveraged in an internal communication setting to create an engaging and dynamic platform.
  • Change management & adoption expertise: Experience in driving cultural and behavioural change within organisations to ensure high adoption rates for new platforms.
