Noya is reversing climate change by removing CO2 from the atmosphere. We’re a scrappy team of engineers, scientists, and operators taking on the biggest problem anybody could be working on. We’ve developed a process that leverages abundant materials to remove CO2 directly from the air with dramatically lower capital and operating expenses than other approaches.
About the Role:
The Operations Administrator role at Noya offers a unique and exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a fast-growing climate tech startup. You will be deeply involved in a wide range of core functions, gaining firsthand experience in all operational aspects of a company that’s on the cutting edge of technology. From managing executive schedules, to supporting the different operations teams, your role will be dynamic and impactful. This position provides the perfect chance to immerse yourself in different areas of the business, learning how each department contributes to our mission. Whether it’s working on special projects or tackling daily tasks that keep the company running smoothly, you will play an essential part in helping Noya accelerate its mission of driving the world toward carbon negativity.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of various administrative and data entry tasks for the CEO and leadership team, ensuring efficient operations and coordination
Assist in supply chain and procurement processes by issuing purchase orders, communicating with vendors, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery
Oversee office management duties, including receiving shipments, proactively ordering office supplies, and ensuring all office equipment is functioning smoothly
Partner with the finance department to support accounts payable, assist in budget management, and contribute to monthly reconciliation tasks
As needed, help the CEO with scheduling, calendar management or travel arrangements
Required Experience:
You have experience working in an office environment, whether through offering administrative support, assisting an executive, or supporting teams in accounting or finance - bonus points if you’ve worked at a manufacturing or hardware technology environment
You learn quickly, are not afraid to ask questions, and enjoy working independently
You are highly detail oriented, diligent, and always keep your stakeholders in the loop
You are trustworthy in handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
You may occasionally be contacted by the CEO outside of regular office hours - you are comfortable handling urgent requests during evenings and weekends when needed
You are comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new tools and systems as needed - bonus points of you have an interested in or experience with information technology systems
You have an interest in Direct Air Capture, carbon dioxide removal, or climate technology in general
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 20 pounds, for example to receive shipments or move office equipment

Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000
