Director of Product Marketing - Nx Cloud

Join our fast-growing Devtools startup, nx.dev, to continue the growth of our popular Nx Cloud and Nx Enterprise products. As Director of Product Marketing, you'll report directly to the CEO, and will work closely with leaders across the company.

What you’ll do

Marketing Strategist

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase awareness and adoption of our software products among developers, with a particular focus on our community of ~2M developers already using our open source build system, Nx.

Collaboration

Closely work with our product and sales teams to identify target customer segments and customize marketing campaigns to appeal to each segment. Engage with customers and the Nx community through various channels such as forums, social media, and events to gather insights and foster strong relationships.

Content Creation

Lead the creation of compelling content that showcases product features and benefits for a technical audience. This may include landing pages, case studies, webinars, and more. 

Team Management

Hire and manage a team of contributors, both internal and external, including designers and writers to ensure a consistent and high-quality output.

Product Development

Collaborate with the product team to build products with marketing in mind from the beginning. This includes aligning with the Developer Relations team on messaging and strategy.

Innovation

Experiment with new methods of bringing more awareness to key aspects of the Nx Cloud and Nx Enterprise products.

Performance Tracking

Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data and experimental results to drive strategic decisions. Your role will be vital in improving brand awareness and driving product adoption.

As part of our expansion plan, Nx is launching a new product line, and we're seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our team. If you have a track record of designing and executing successful marketing strategies for developer-focused products, possess a deep understanding of the technical landscape, and have a knack for creative marketing, we'd love to hear from you.

• 4+ years of experience in product marketing, specifically targeting software developers or in the tech industry
• Strong understanding of the software development process and the needs of developers
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly connect complex technical concepts with business outcomes
• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, SEO, and no code website tools
