The quality, integrity, and commitment of our employees are key factors in our company's growth, market presence and our ability to help our clients stay a step ahead of the competition.By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA and for the people who work here.The MongoDB Database Admin will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical Mongo RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our client applications.This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Job Responsibilities Include :• Manage MongoDB databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.• Database performance tuning.• Planning, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting of high-availability database environments (RAC. Dataguard etc.).• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes, for efficiency and cost optimization.• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.• Work directly with end customer, business stakeholders as well as technical resources.Basic Qualifications :• 6+ years of experience on MongoDB in database administration, in an enterprise environment with multiple database servers is required including :• Database health validation and appropriate migration pattern / tools / wave calendar for applications.• Provisioning, Build, Configuration, Patching & Maintenance.• Automation capabilities - Validating and assisting in the enablement of automated capabilities• Database migrations - Dedicated support for application migration waves• Vendor Engagement - Triage support to remediate identified issues during migrationsAbout NTT DATA ServicesNTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT and business services, including cloud, data and applications, headquartered in Texas.As part of NTT DATA, a $30 billion trusted global innovator with a combined global reach of over 80 countries, we help clients transform through business and technology consulting, industry and digital solutions, applications development and management, managed edge-to-cloud infrastructure services, BPO, systems integration and global data centers.We are committed to our clients' long-term success.
