Senior Software Engineer

As a full-stack, senior software engineer at Nucleus, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, working on both front-end and back-end systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that drive our business forward.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our team engineers, scientists, regulatory experts, marketing, and design to envision and deliver key components of our web app.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to our technical architecture

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in full-stack web development

• Be in the office in SOHO, NYC at least 4 days a week

• Strong proficiency in Javascript /Typescript and/or Python

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (NextJS, React)

• Familiarity with back-end frameworks (NextJS, Flask)

• Deep understanding of database systems (MySQL, MongoDB)

• Strong problem-solving skills and extreme attention to detail

• Expert-level knowledge of git and SDLC processes

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with cloud platforms and dev ops (AWS, Google Cloud)

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (DevOps)

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies

• Contributions to open-source projects

• E-commerce experience or experience in digital health
