Product Developer

Nugget, a direct-to-consumer play furniture brand, is seeking an experienced Industrial Designer/Product Developer to join the Product Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, prototyping, and bringing innovative products to market in the kids product space.

Skills

5-7 years of Industrial Design or Product Design experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or similar
Experience bringing consumer products to market
Advanced knowledge of design software platforms and engineering fundamentals
Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical details effectively
Excellent planning, organization, and prioritization skills

Responsibilities

Own and lead product development projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
Research, identify, and apply testing standards for products and materials
Conceive and present new product concepts
Manage product documentation for multiple projects
Work closely with suppliers, supply chain, manufacturing, and marketing teams
Make prototypes, test, refine, and communicate design intent

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or Product Design
