About the role:
Our client is an experienced and trusted prepaid debit card payment solutions provider and integrated payment processor with over 2.5 million cardholders in its portfolio.

We are looking for an experienced Angular and .NET Engineer responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems to include encoding, testing, debugging and documenting applications. This position requires an ability to integrate with various internal and external APIs and deep understanding of front-end applications, tools, database integration/development, and supporting the transition of applications from Angular to .NET. The right candidate will be able to productively engage with all aspects of the software development life cycle.

Some of the main responsibilities for this role include:

• Design and develop front-end applications
• Design, build, test, and support new and existing APIs for the core systems
• Maintain high quality code and technical documentation
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure high quality code, and test coverage
• Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance coding to remediate bugs
• Provide work time estimates at both high and low levels.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance and security requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities
• Collaborate with DevOps to further advance the organization toward CI/CD

Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- 5+ years of programming experience
- Proficiency in .NET, ASP.NET Core, and MVC

- Proficiency in React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Experience with building and consuming both SOAP and REST APIs required
- Experience with API security best practices
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
- Experience in GitHub
- Expert in reading, understanding, and internalizing existing codebases
- Commitment to testing at all levels of system engineering
- Demonstrate ability to quickly learn and apply various programming techniques and processes
- Ability to take business requests and break them down into manageable steps to achieve a goal
- Capable of designing a moderately sized software project, putting together a project plan to accomplish it, tracking progress, and executing it with a team
- Able to see the big picture of how systems interact with one another

 
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud tools like AWS and Azure
- Experience with CI/CD, performing deployments in various environments
- Experience with containerization, ideally using Docker
