This position is located in Loveland, CO.Reporting to the Director, Nutrien Financial Accounting, this position is responsible for leading the accounting team for the Nutrien Financial (“NF”) business segment. This role supports the accurate and timely reporting of the financial results for Nutrien Financial as well as ongoing data analysis and reporting for those that utilize the Nutrien Financial program offers. The Senior Supervisor, Accounting, Nutrien Financial will also oversee the training and development of members of the accounting department and will partner heavily with Branch and Division personnel to ensure proper understanding of Nutrien Financials’ programs within their P&Ls. Collaboration with stakeholders including Decision Support, IT, NF Business Systems, Accounts Receivable and other internal departments as needed to develop or enhance processes and problem solve issues.What you will do:• Leadership role partnering with various departments including Finance, IT, NF Business Systems, and Accounts Receivable as well as all accounting groups to identify and support key system and procedure deficiencies or enhancements to continue progression of functionality for SAP for both current users as well as future division and region roll outs• Maintain complex models in Power BI and Excel to support accounting and reporting for Nutrien Financial• Manage and review monthly accounting responsibilities for Nutrien Financial, which is part of Nutrien Ag Solutions, North America• Develop and maintain field reporting and program performance reporting to assist Nutrien Financial leadership in decision making• Daily supervision of 5-7 Accountants ensuring work product is complete, accurate and timely• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to Nutrien Financial accountants• Produce specific, ad hoc, customized reports for both internal customers and senior management upon request• Lead S4 NF programs redesign; including reporting, testing and validation of data flow as well as co‑existence efforts for NF Accounting as the Company transitions onto new SAP platform• Coordinate building of HANA data cubes to develop faster, more efficient reporting to assist management in making business decisions• Collaborate on the execution of new strategic initiatives for Nutrien Financial• Consistently work towards process improvements to gain efficiencies and improve information provided to internal stakeholders• Partner with key stakeholders to ensure information flow is efficient and operations accounting policies, processes and procedures associated with retail customer financing programs are developed and followed• Participate in various projects as requestedWhat you will bring:• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance• CPA preferred• 6 - 8 years accounting experience and demonstrated leadership skills• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with a focus on advanced Excel skills• Strong experience with Power BI is preferred• Ability to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines and display a sense of urgency around month-end deadlines• Ability to adapt to new processes and system solutions to best support our growing business segment• Excellent customer service skills• Mature attitude and ability to deal effectively in a team environment and exhibit strong business ethics• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral and listening)Compensation & Benefits:Salary Range $90,400 - $124,300 annually. This range is estimated for Senior Supervisor, Accounting, Nutrien Financial role located in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
