We also use applied technology expertise to serve the defense, entertainment, material handling, aerospace, science, and renewable energy industries.Position SummaryWe are looking for a talented Videographer and Photographer to capture and edit visually compelling, high-quality photos and videos that showcase our brand, products, and services to both internal and external audiences. This role demands a creative and strategic approach to visually represent the brand's messaging and objectives, with a strong emphasis on filming and editing.LOCATION• Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required.• This position is hybrid with 5-10% travel to our corporate offices within Houston, nationally, and internationally required.Duties & ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL• Editing Expertise: Demonstrate strong editing skills and principles to ensure high-quality content.• Cinematography Knowledge: Display a strong understanding of cinematography principles, composition, and shot framing.• Equipment Proficiency: Operate and maintain a range of professional camera equipment and accessories, including lenses, tripods, lights, microphones, and drones (certifications required).• Comprehensive Production: Record and edit video, audio tracks, sound effects, and music for various video projects.• Lighting Mastery: Apply knowledge to control both natural and artificial lighting conditions for optimal results.• Visual Storytelling: Showcase a keen understanding of visual storytelling techniques to captivate and inform audiences.• Asset Management: Efficiently manage and organize video and photo files and assets in a cloud-based storage system such as Microsoft SharePoint and other Digital Asset Management systems.• Content Creation: Create engaging video content suitable for various audiences (website, social media, internal communications), including live streaming and webinars.• Collaborative Development: Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and maintain proper messaging, branding, and consistency.• Deadline Management: Meet tight deadlines and respond quickly to market opportunities, ensuring timely delivery of content.• Individual Contributor: Operate as a fully proficient individual contributor, capable of handling projects independently.QualificationsREQUIRED• Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.• Minimum 3 years of experience with editing for multiple platforms including social media and web.• Minimum 3 years of experience with video editing/design software, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and other software applications.• Minimum 3 years of experience with Zoom/Microsoft Live Streaming and/or other media streaming distribution platforms.• Familiar with Digital Asset Management systems (such as Microsoft SharePoint and Canto).• Must have valid drone certifications.• Must have demo reel showcasing diverse videography and drone experience.DESIRED• Experience in the oil and gas or energy sector is preferred, but not required.• Livestreaming and Webinar video experience• Must possess or be willing to obtain offshore safety certifications such as TWIC, BOSIET, HUET.Additional InformationThis position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office.
