Description and Requirements


Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) organization is currently hiring an OEM Intake Program Manager. The OEM business model is focused on selling Lenovo ISG products and services to OEM customers who will incorporate them into their solutions to create unique products, sold to their end customers. Some customer solutions require customization of Lenovo standard products. These requirements from OEM customers drives the need for coordination of the development and customization process for these opportunities.

The OEM Intake Manager will be responsible for developing first and later own the program and processes for a new Intake Program. Working cross functionally, the program aims to develop execution plans for complex customization and other non-standard requests, business cases to support them, and prepare the plans to be handed off to a project manager or other owners that will complete the tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the Program requirements and establish a Project Plan for implementation
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to align on roles & responsibilities
  • Review and classify customization requests as defined by OEM
  • Interlock with geo sales teams and engineering to develop solutions to meet customer needs
  • Engage with customers to validate and refine solution requirements
  • Establish work streams for each complex customization request
  • Identify cross-functional owners for each request work item
  • Acquire necessary understanding of special offering processes and capabilities allowing to transfer this knowledge to local and other central team members
  • Develop business cases, where needed, for complex customization requests
  • Interlock with stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and gain business case approvals

The successful candidate will have the ability to influence and maintain open communication with multiple teams including geo sales and sales operations teams, OEM solution architects and engineers, product and development teams, commercial operations, and services organizations. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills to drive plans for an evolving business model.


Position Requirements:


Minimum
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management or related field
  • At least 7 years of program/project management experience
  • Ability to work cross functionally across multiple organizations
  • Spirit of entrepreneurship requiring high-energy, proactive style, teaming, and collaboration
  • Strong process orientation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with WW team members, drive WW projects
  • Ability to work across multiple geographies and time zones to drive project execution

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • PMP certification
  • Knowledge of Lenovo product development and sales enablement processes beneficial
