Position Summary:
Production assembly operator is responsible for operating machines and producing quality parts in a safe & efficient manner.
Shift hours:
(2nd) 2:50pm – 11pm
(3rd) 10:50pm – 7am
Starting pay is $18.00
Primary Responsibilities:
Follow machine work instructions, either verbal or written
Run sample parts (poke yokes)
Load parts into machine and remove them
Determine that parts conform to quality standards through visual inspection or by measurement
Count and pack good parts
Document and dispose of non-conforming parts
Complete paperwork such as the lot tracking form which requires the operator to retrieve lot numbers from components, generate new lot number based on Julian date and machine number, and explain machine downtime
Account for day’s performance including any down time
Education and Qualifications:
High School or Equivalent
Manual dexterity
Good Attendance
Positive Attitude
Work Environment/Work Conditions:
This position requires bending, stooping, pushing and pulling up to 40 lbs. and lifting up to 20 lbs.
This position will be exposed to noise, dirt and dust
Eye and Hearing PPE is required
Safety shoes are also required
