Data Science Intern (Summer 2024)

OfferUp is looking for a Data Science Intern passionate about manipulating and using new and existing data sources to help drive actionable recommendations.

Skills

Python or Java programming
Predictive modeling and analysis
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Design and measure experiments in various cross-functional areas
Identify opportunities and drive results in product search, crime risk modeling, etc.
Develop end-to-end experimentation-driven product improvements
Act as an analytics advisor to solve business problems
Leverage machine learning technologies to solve complex business problems

Education

Bachelor's, Master or PhD in Computer Science graduating in 2025 or 2026
