Office Assistant in Fort Wayne, IN!
This is an on-site position. The schedule is M-F, 8am - 5pm (EST).
The Office Assistant role is an entry level position in our Document Management Group, as well as our Release Services Group. The role will include multiple actives within a secured area. Office Assistants are required to handle documents in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner while maintaining a consistent flow from one department to the next. This role may be performing functions such as receiving, sorting, scanning, batching, filing, pulling, validating, or releasing documents.
$3,000 Sign-On Bonus for offers of employment to external candidates available! This bonus will be paid out in installments as follows:
- $1,500 paid after 90 days of continuous employment
- $1,500 paid after 180 days of continuous employment
- NOTE: Former employees are ineligible.
Your Role:
- Handle documents in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a consistent flow from one department to the next
- Sort and imaging Lender packets in vault/secure room
- Retrieve perfecting documents from a secured vault repository
- Sign off on State documents
- Follows established procedures and compliance requirements
- Performs other duties as necessary
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including occasional mandatory overtime
- Attention to Detail; good organizational skills; adaptability; demonstrates consistent accuracy and thoroughness; efficient and timely completion of work
Post-Hire Mandatory Employment and State Requirements:
- Obtain and maintain access to the Indiana (IN) Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) Partial Service Provider Program (PSP) to process Electronic Registration and Titling for the State of Indiana. This includes submission and approval of State of Indiana BMV/C Records Access and Use Agreement form which requires an Indiana State Police background check.
- Compliance with Indiana BMV processing and auditing standards is a strict requirement.
- Completion of all mandated training by the Indiana BMV within prescribed time periods is mandatory.
- Failure to comply with state requirements may result in disciplinary action, up to, and including separation of employment.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field
- Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
Workplace Environment:
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive production work.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
- Variable shifts for Day, Evening, Part-Time and Full-Time which can include Saturdays.
- Ability to lift or push up to 35 lbs.
