KBR has a rapidly growing team in Kihei, HI. that supports several on-going and anticipated new to be awarded Department of Defense programs. We are looking for a highly motivated Office Manager to assist the Director, Program Managers and team members based in Kihei, HI. and remote locations.

Job Responsibilities: Provide administrative or secretarial support to a department and/or Manager. Typical duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Responsibilities may be unique to a specific function or department such as Procurement or Engineering, but are mainly administrative in nature. Under broad direction, works within a specialized function to complete broadly defined tasks which require advanced problem solving and recognition skills. Supports general business operations by providing guidance for administrative support activities. Requires ability to perform numerical, statistical, and/or financial analysis. Must use initiative and judgment arranging job details to achieve predetermined objectives. May provide guidance to less experienced team members. Effective oral and written communication skills are required. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of experience. (Note: this position may have Administrative Specialists reporting to it).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Manage visits, visit requests and security procedures
  • Manage employee security clearance requests and status’
  • Manage site security program
  • Manage facility program
  • Manage office procurements and assist government property manager


Security Requirements: Must meet eligibility requirements for a government security clearance.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
