Our mission
We’re on a mission to make the switch to sustainable transport and energy faster, easier and more affordable. We use our own technology stack, data smarts and industry knowledge to build a game-changing capability. Our intelligent energy platform helps our customers access renewable energy, understand consumer behaviour, and powers smart charging for EVs.
The worlds of energy and transport are colliding and Ohme is at the heart of this. By using technology and data integrations to connect cars, chargers, people, energy providers and more, Ohme has a powerful platform that puts the consumer at the core.
Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid-2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of Motability, Octopus Energy, Volvo Benelux, VW UK, Mercedes UK, Hyundai UK and other innovative brands.
We are scaling up the business and are building out the team for rapid growth. If you’re interested in joining a fast-growing cleantech venture on a journey to speed up the global transition to clean energy, read on!
Your Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst (Energy Flexibility) who excels in storytelling through data. This role involves coordinating and analysing data to provide insightful narratives on performance, ensuring data integrity, and engaging with stakeholders to drive project success.
You will be part of the growing Energy Flexibility commercial team at Ohme and you will be instrumental in helping us deliver new products and services that enable our business and domestic customers to participate in flexibility markets.
What we need from you:
Pull together the right data: coordinate the capturing and organisation of charging data to understand fleet performance. Work with data teams to create appropriate dashboards to secure the data you need.
Analyse and provide insight: analyse customer charging behaviour (and charger activity) through the lens of various initiatives for one of our largest customers.
Dig deep: identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform organisational decisions – including how we communicate what, what the consequences are, how we could do things differently, etc
Write the story: produce regular and ad-hoc PowerPoint presentations summarising ongoing performance/activity.
Tell the story: confidently engage with external and internal stakeholders to with regular presentation of your findings.
Learn and adapt: through gathering input/feedback from internal and external sources, evolve our reporting to best meet the needs of our business and clientele
Attention to detail and versatility: dealing with new and fast-moving products with bugs, unexpected behaviour, and little consideration for data; need to proactively work with dev teams to ensure quality of output and minimise inevitable trickle-down damage to data (duplicate data, inconsistent data structures, missing data, etc) and work with customer-facing teams (e.g. marketing, customer care) to help with the troubleshooting of technical issues using data.
Basic energy markets knowledge and curiosity is a plus – helps with understanding the context of why we’re doing what we’re doing; previous experience can drive further analysis or insights previously unknown; however this is not a must-have.
