We're building a world where Identity belongs to you.Job DescriptionAt Okta, our Strategic Events and Marketing Team designs and executes best-in-class events and experiences that establish Okta as a trusted advisor to the world's largest organizations. The corporate sponsorship & events manager role is a new role at Okta and you will have the opportunity to build something from the ground up.We want a proven and experienced team player with big ideas, but we also need someone who likes to roll up the sleeves and dig in on any details necessary to ensure success. This is a highly visible role with exposure to leadership across the company and our event portfolio.The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing corporate partnerships and programs end-to-end.What you'll be doing• Lead our first global corporate sponsorship kicking off in 2025.• Develop and implement immersive experiences for our brand partnership programs that align with Okta's goals and objectives and will positively impact growth.• Manage end to end the comprehensive schedule, production, and event management of programs, agencies and meetings associated with the corporate sponsorship, including pre-planning, contract review, and supporting communications.• Track ROI, engagement, and audience feedback to measure results, assess opportunities for improvement, and optimize future events for an exceptional attendee experience.• Manage 3rd party vendor relationships with agencies and production partners, program budget, and deliver post-event reports.• Report into the Strategic Events and Marketing Team and work cross-functionally with other Okta teams (e.g. Partner Marketing, Partner & Alliances, Customer Marketing, Creative, etc.) to launch and manage partnerships.What you'll bring to the role• Capable of leading, creating, and presenting a long-term vision, and with a supporting strategy to achieve it.• Equipped with a business focus and delivery mindset that enables engagement at the executive level.• Energy, flexibility, and drive to create real and measurable business results.• Experience in executing integrated, ROI-driven marketing and lead generation programs.• Self-starter with exceptional organizational and time management abilities, keen attention to detail, and thinking steps ahead in the process• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.• Passion for the role and the company's mission.• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.• 5-8 years of experience in corporate sponsorship & events management.Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
