Product Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Product Engineer to lead the development of new products from tapeout to mass production. The ideal candidate will design characterization/testing plans, collaborate with R&D teams and manufacturing engineers, and resolve technical issues to meet performance requirements. For existing products, the successful candidate will maintain technical support and drive yield improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement characterization/testing plans for new products
Collaborate with R&D teams and manufacturing engineers to resolve technical issues
Analyze yield data and drive corrective actions for yield improvements
Lead product introduction and ramp-up processes for image sensors and ASIC devices
Develop and finalize product datasheets based on characterization results
Work closely with testing engineers to develop, verify, and release testing programs
Participate in cross-functional teams for product definition and DFM inputs
Maintain and sustain technical support for existing products
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in image sensor, memory (flash, SRAM, DRAM), or ASIC products
Familiarity with silicon processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
Mandarin speaking and writing proficiency (preferred)

Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $80,600 - $115,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
