Mid / Senior Backend Engineer - Growth

Skills

Experience with API development with Elixir or functional programming language
Building and debugging distributed, scalable microservices architecture
Proficient in modern API and systems design and development
Strong computer science foundation
Advocate for the customer and their experience
Mentorship and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Build scalable services to support new features and products for the onX suite of apps.
Write unit, integration, and acceptance tests
Participate in architectural decisions involving our services
Collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders
Lead by example - embody our company values
Leverage and extend existing onX services
Participate in an on-call schedule to support backend services after work hours
