Senior Strategy Director – Digital/Omnichannel

Reports to Executive Director Strategy & Innovation

Job Summary

As Senior Strategy Director, Digital/Omnichannel, you will serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, driving the development and execution of effective, measurable digital/omnichannel strategies that align with client objectives. Leveraging deep expertise in digital engagement, you will shape innovative solutions that provide a consistent and personalized experience across multiple channels, play a key role in business development and organic growth, and enhance the agency’s overall strategic capabilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Client Partnership

  • Develop and deliver measurable omnichannel strategies that align with client objectives and drive engagement
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, guiding them through best practices in digital engagement and data-driven decision-making
  • Lead and facilitate internal and client workshops, helping teams navigate the evolving omnichannel landscape and maximize the impact of their digital strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate omnichannel approaches into broader medical communications and engagement strategies

Innovation & Thought Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with the Solutions Innovation Centre and our ecosystem of elite technology partners, helping to drive the company’s innovation agenda and ensuring that we remain at the forefront of emerging technologies (including AI/ML), omnichannel strategies and data-driven approaches
  • Stay ahead of industry shifts and proactively bring new ideas and innovative solutions to clients
  • Represent the company at conferences, panels, and industry events, driving external thought leadership and positioning the agency as a leader in digital medical communications

Business Growth & Agency Development

  • Contribute to new business and organic growth across the company
  • Support the development of innovative service offerings, ensuring the agency remains competitive in the evolving digital landscape
  • Play a key role in internal knowledge sharing, mentoring team members and fostering a culture of strategic excellence

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include:

o   BSc or Masters degree in a relevant subject (e.g., scientific, marketing)

o   Professional digital marketing qualification e.g., CIM / IDM diploma or higher

  • Proven experience at a leadership level of developing and delivering digital and omnichannel engagement strategies for Global and Regional pharmaceutical teams
  • Track record of driving business growth
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with strong experience of leading client presentations/workshops, and participating in external Thought Leadership activities
  • Strong strategic leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams and promote critical thinking
  • Highly adaptable and agile, with the ability to pivot in response to evolving company / client needs
  • Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to deliver immediate value
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and individuals with varying levels of experience
