Safety is more important to us than unfettered growth.About the RoleIn this role, you’ll be responsible for driving collaboration with key partners to advance our technological capabilities and market reach. You’ll lead strategic initiatives and critical projects with external partners, managing efforts related to technology and IP, infrastructure, compliance, and collaborative ventures.This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.In this role, you will:• Collaborate with key partners to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.• Coordinate efforts around enterprise compliance, ensuring all projects meet regulatory standards and requirements.• Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.• Support engineering leadership by driving critical communication and ensuring the efficient operation of the team.• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.You might thrive in this role if you:• Have 10+ years of experience in project management, particularly in managing strategic initiatives and partnerships.• Possess broad technical knowledge of AI systems, cloud infrastructure, and compliance standards.• Demonstrate proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects, with strong organizational and time-management skills.• Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and can effectively engage with senior leadership and external partners.About OpenAIOpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
